Cathedral Mountain |
This particular mountain has a very majestic look about it, and is also formed from different coloured layers of rock. Under this mountain are the "Spiral Tunnels". These tunnels were carved out of the solid rock, so that they could reduce the gradient of the track up this particular Valley. They did this only after several trains had "Run Away" coming down the hill, and crashed. The trains are so long, that the front of the train can be exiting a tunnel, and crossing over the rear of the same train, that has not yet finished entering the tunnel. |
